What we do
What we do
Inclusive Education Partnerships

Creating an inclusive school environment takes more than good intentions—it requires thoughtful planning, effective strategies, and ongoing support. At The Inclusion Project, we partner with schools to design and implement inclusive education models tailored to their specific needs.

Our services include:

We offer professional development workshops and hands-on training for teachers, administrators, and support staff to build awareness, understanding, and skills for fostering inclusion.

Our team collaborates with schools to design customised inclusion models, ranging from classroom integration strategies to dedicated neurodiverse support streams.

Schools gain access to a wealth of resources, including ready-to-use templates, visual aids, lesson modifications, and supplementary curricula designed to support neurodiverse learners.

We don’t stop at training; we stay with you through the implementation process, providing guidance, troubleshooting challenges, and ensuring that your inclusion initiatives are effective and sustainable.

We help schools monitor the success of their inclusion strategies and adapt as needed to meet the needs of their students and community.
Whether your school is just starting its inclusion journey or looking to refine existing practices, we provide the expertise, tools, and resources to make meaningful inclusion a reality.

Inclusion Coaches

Our on-site Inclusion Coaches bring expertise directly into mainstream school environments, bridging the gap between inclusion theory and practical application. These skilled professionals work closely with teachers, students, and school leadership to create supportive, inclusive spaces where all students can thrive.

Key services provided by Inclusion Coaches include:

Collaborating with educators to adapt teaching methods, create differentiated lesson plans, and implement inclusive tools and strategies that work for neurodiverse learners.

Working directly with neurodiverse students to support self-regulation, independence, and engagement in the classroom.

Equipping school staff with practical skills and confidence to sustain inclusive practices long after the coach’s support ends.

Acting as a liaison between the school and families, ensuring that students’ needs are met holistically across home and school settings.

School-Based Practitioners

Our School-Based Practitioners work directly with neurodiverse students in their school environment, providing personalized support tailored to their unique needs. Whether for a short-term boost or long-term guidance, these practitioners help children build critical skills to navigate their school day with greater independence and confidence.

Key areas of focus include:

Helping students develop organisational skills, emotional regulation, and routines for success

Supporting students to participate more autonomously in daily school activities and tasks.

Guiding students through social interactions and fostering positive peer relationships.

Available for short-term goals or ongoing assistance, depending on the needs of the child and the school.

Our practitioners work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and therapists to ensure consistency and alignment in their approach, empowering students to succeed both academically and socially.

Family Consultations

At The Inclusion Project, we provide families with practical, hands-on guidance to navigate challenges and create a path forward. Our consultations are designed to offer short-term, actionable support while helping families build a strong team of educators, therapists, and other professionals to meet their child’s unique needs.

Our consultations focus on:

Offering clear, practical advice to help families find the right educational setting tailored to their child’s strengths, challenges, and future goals.

Providing immediate, step-by-step support during challenging situations to help families regain control and move forward with confidence.

Assisting families in bringing together teachers, therapists, and other key professionals to ensure a unified approach that supports their child’s growth and well-being.

Equipping families with actionable strategies, tools, and resources to address their current concerns and create lasting positive changes.

Our goal is to empower families with practical solutions while ensuring they have the right team and support network in place to navigate their journey successfully.

Our
journey
Evolving from The Autism Project to The Inclusion Project

For over a decade, The Autism Project transformed lives by creating inclusive spaces and delivering specialised autism interventions. Partnering with forward-thinking schools, we helped establish Early Intervention Classes and Carousel Streams, providing tailored support for children and families.

As our community’s needs evolve, so do we. With The Autism Project transitioning to serve a new community, we are expanding our vision through The Inclusion Project. This evolution allows us to broaden our impact, empowering more schools and communities to embrace neurodiversity. Our focus remains on innovation, collaboration, and creating sustainable, inclusive environments where every child can thrive.
